A DAY TO DIE WELL!
Tell me that which resides deep in you
Against the will of our land, say; a sorcerers view,
Destined to be lost in the nile
Far away from home, she writes... in lieu:
"For the love of my star, the painter's son
That wherever be he, I so follow.
So away I go, travelling rays of the sun
Till joy found buffer this pain, my sorrow "
Where I be, I swear to care not
For death harnessed beckon in mine vine;
In him alone is free, a treasure you n'er bought
And dreadlocked be our twist, but I'll be fine.
So unto this journey I'm lost, an empire's outcast!
Betrayed by my phlegm, against her will,
Sold out to the wild, swallowed by the vast
A mortal's fate, belated neither by faith nor zeal.
And when I found the sculpture laid
Closer to the beauty of life, again I drew,
To touch it's body, for a dime not paid
Sake for a wine without taste, though well brewed.
Hurray! This be the perfect moon
With which brings a life to its eternal halt!
Astray not had I thread, so freely be I groomed
For this be a day to die, and die well in the court.

An amazing insight to the future!!! hot and interesting!
When I was Seventy!
By Shaibu Majeed Idowu
When I was seventy! (Readers discretion advised).
“You children of nowadays are just out of hands, I remember then, we were bred with high moral and discipline, our girls wore lingerie and g-strings only when going out. Bikini? Oh, ladies wore that only during wedding ceremonies. Women were even so shy and ashamed of nudity that they wore pants when visitors are around. You wouldn’t even have sex with a stranger until he had told you he loves you, and he must use a condom! that’s only when you are allowed to take him to your room and not in the parlour, so your noise wouldn’t disturb mum and dad. But now, all these have changed, you no longer have morals, you are not afraid of nudity anymore, God have mercy”
I told that to my daughter last year during my 69th birthday ceremony, she replied:
“Majeed, common stop sounding like that, that’s too lame and archaic, your generation was so blind to civilisation”
When I was seventy, things didn’t happen like this, now we’ve changed a lot. Then no one believed in orderliness, that’s too cruel. There exists nothing like gender, it actually didn’t matter, male or female? Just a choice of birth, and that’s the end.
When you reach age twelve, you shouldn’t be a Virgin if your parents are civilised at all, why keep the dignity? you already have it, so give it out! you see, being a girl means you are free to your life, so explore your fantasies, this is the real way out!
Who says being gay is unacceptable? Our media even preached it, you know, our population has to reduce, and if the rate is too slow, why not help manually, we can happily kick one or two out of the family, yes everybody shouldn’t live. Killing has no sanction, it’s just a case of who’s stronger, if you are smarter, then you could survive and in fact, that Is the real people needed. We get married, yes; and that means not much, you see, a lady has to be satisfied whenever she has the drive, so tonight am just too tired for you, but you can call on any other man to satisfy you dear. And of course, I’ll love to see you scream lovingly!
When you wake up tomorrow, I might have been to the orgy, so don’t hesitate to get my daughter in the mood, she can’t afford to be lonely you know, so have fun with her, she’s totally yours. …and who would you actually want me to call tonight, James? Oh he was here last week, and besides, he’s too aggressive. Tom will do just fine!
When I was seventy, I tell you, leadership had no style, it was ‘kill or be killed’, and who really cared if you are dead? Well, maybe the Anatomists! At least, every specimen is useful in the lab! We were not actually led, we were simply following, and that defined real democracy.
Interestingly, when I was seventy, life was fun, fantasies turned reality, musics weren’t sung, they were simply played in the mind, for life in the beginning was uncovered, so choirs need not dress up, simply praise God in whole flesh, let the men appreciate the Lord’s doing through your unhidden beauty! In fact, holy sex occurred on the alter, so doing will you only beget holy beings. And the beautiful veiled ladies need not be veiled, better viewed in their bikini strands. This is real civilisation!
Classes were strictly to the laid out curriculum, practical done real and theories? Not so much of them. We had realistic tutors. For instance, biology was taught in the lab and for every experiment to be done, you bring a live specimen and even for reproduction topics, students demonstrate coitus in vitro, nothing hidden and nothing more!
Now, you barely go to classes, everyone of you already knew what it meant. When I was seventy, ATMs had no secret identity, Naira was not a currency, and government meant nothing to the governed, I told you we simply followed. Now I’ve turned ninety, I’m leaving the world for your very spoilt generation to continue, but remember, before God and man We were not, and will never be as corrupt as you are now. Get me a teen porn star for a last taste!…and before that…I hope when you reach my age, you will realise how disciplined we live so you will compare your generation to mine.
"That was the life we lived long ago when I was seventy, very very long ago, my daughter."
